Madison uses big second half to down RCTC 100-64

Rochester, MN – December 10, 2025 – Madison College showcased its offensive firepower in the second half to drop RCTC 100-64 win at the RCTC Performance Court on Wednesday night. The WolfPack, now 11-1 on the season, delivered a balanced attack and relentless pace to pull away from a tight game against the Yellowjackets, who fall to 4-6.

The two teams went toe-to-toe early, as Madison lead only 40-35 lead at halftime before exploding for 60 points in the second half. The WolfPack shot 67% from the floor in the second half, including 10-15 from beyond the arc in the second half alone.

Sophomore guard Ryen Jones led all scorers with a 28-point performance, hitting 12 of 16 shots and four triples while adding six rebounds and five steals. Braylen Blue contributed 18 points on perfect shooting from deep (4-for-4) and added four assists. Madison's bench was equally impactful, with Noah Compan scoring 14 points and grabbing five boards in just 14 minutes. In total, 13 WolfPack players scored in the contest.

RCTC battled hard in the first half, staying within five points at the break, but struggled to contain Madison's offensive surge after halftime. The Yellowjackets shot 42.4% from the field and 31.6% from three, but turnovers proved costly as they committed 21 giveaways. Sam Hemery paced RCTC with 11 points off the bench, while starters Armoni Dishinger-Harris and Tycen Vig chipped in 10 and 9 points respectively. Dominic Martinez-White had seven assists.

The Jackets return to their home court on Friday and Saturday as they play the final weekend of the MCAC Crossover series.  RCTC will take on MN North - Hibbing on Friday at 6:30, before battling MN North- Rainy River on Saturday at 2:00pm
