Women's Volleyball

Chanda Xiong is in her seventh non-consecutive season as an assistant volleyball coach at Rochester Community and Technical College, where she leads the team's strength and conditioning programs and plays a key role in player development. 

 

A former Yellowjacket herself, Chanda played at RCTC as an outside hitter and middle in 2012 and 2013 before transferring to Winona State University. There, she continued her volleyball journey as a player and president of the club volleyball team from 2014-2018. 

 

Chanda brings a wealth of experience to the program, having coached multiple high schools including Rushford Peterson and Triton. She also spent two seasons with Southern Elite Energy and currently serves as the Club Director for the MN Rockies, a role she has help for two years. 

 

Off the court, Chanda works full time at RCTC as an Academic and Transitions Advisor, where she supports students in achieving their educational and personal goals. 

 

When she is not coaching or advising, Chanda enjoys spending time with her baby, playing volleyball- especially grass triples- and working out.
