Jeremy Richardson
Head Football Coach
Jeremy Richardson was named Head Football Coach of the Rochester Community and Technical College Yellowjackets in the Spring of 2026, bringing with him extensive experience in collegiate athletics and a proven record of leadership, program development, and student-athlete success.
Richardson is widely respected for his relationship-driven coaching philosophy and his commitment to excellence both on and off the field. He steps into the role prepared to lead the Yellowjacket program into its next chapter, with a strong focus on accountability, academic achievement, and competitive success.
Throughout his career, Richardson has built an accomplished résumé across the junior college and collegiate levels. He previously served as Head Football Coach at Joliet Junior College, where his teams captured Graphic Edge Bowl championships in 2007 and 2009 while producing nationally ranked, record-setting offenses. He has also led programs at Northland Community & Technical College and Erie Community College, and held assistant coaching and leadership roles at Garden City Community College, Texas College, and North American University.
In addition to his head coaching experience, Richardson served as Assistant Athletic Director at Trinity Valley Community College, gaining valuable experience in athletic administration and program operations. He has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the academic advising, retention, and personal development of student-athletes, mentoring numerous NJCAA players who advanced to four-year institutions.
Known for a coaching style centered on discipline, toughness, and accountability, Richardson places equal emphasis on student success, leadership development, and community engagement.
