RCTC Volleyball Places Four on All-State Team

Winona, MN - The MCAC announced the 2019 All-State team for volleyball and once again the RCTC Yellowjackets were well represented.  The Yellowjackets placed three players on the MCAC First Team and a fourth on the MCAC Second Team.

Southern Division Player of the Year Carrie Rutledge lead the way for RCTC earning her second MCAC All-State Team award.  Joining Rutledge on the First Team were setter, and two time All-State performer, Brekkin McCready, as well as MH/OH Hayley Dessner.  Sophomore libero, Kate Bade was named to the MCAC second team.

The four award winners and the entire Yellowjacket team will be playing in the NJCAA DIII National Championships next week.  The tournament, which is hosted by RCTC and Rochester Sports kicks off next Thursday, November 14th.  The Yellowjackets, who earned the #2 overall seed, will take on the winner of #7 seed Harper and #10 seed Queensborough with first serve scheduled for 4:00pm
