RCTC and Martin Luther battle to 0-0 Draw

Rochester, MN -

The RCTC Yellowjackets women's soccer team tied Martin Luther College (NCAA) 0-0.  RCTC outshot MLC 31 to 4 in the contest, and it took an outstanding effort by the MLC goalkeeper to keep the Jackets off the board...Fatima Sanchez Hernandez got the shutout for the Yellowjackets, with 4 saves.

MaKenzie Swanson-Larson lead the Jackets with 7 shots on goal, while Kaela Cheak and Mae Litschauer added 6 and 5 respectively.

RCTC soccer coach Bryan Wiess said "I am really proud of my squad.  We held possession for the majority of the game tonight versus a quality NCAA Division 3 team.  We were lucky enough to put 31 shots on frame, and unlucky enough to not score any of them."

RCTC travel to Worthington, MN on Saturday to play a conference match versus Minnesota West Community College. The Jackets defeated MN West 13-1 at home earlier in the season.
