RCTC rolls to 6th win on the season

ROCHESTER, MN - The RCTC women's soccer team moved to 6-1-1 on the season with a 5-0 shutout at MN West on Homecoming Saturday.  Fatima Sanchez-Hernandez earned her 5th shutout of the season in leading the Jackets to victory.

On the offensive side of the ball, it was Jaila Hill leading the way as the freshman had a goal and two assists.  Goals were also scored by MaKenzie Swanson-Larson, Kaela Cheak, Mae Litschauer, and Ally Weaver.

Coach Weiss said, "I am really proud of the squad for today's performance.  The goal was to relax and work on fine tuning a few things as we head into the last third of the season. I think we were successful in accomplishing that."

The Yellowjackets are back in action on their home field on Wednesday, Septemebr 25th taking on the College of St. Scholastica JV.  Kickoff is set for 6:00pm at the Rochester Regional Stadium.
