RCTC softball drops two to 7th Ranked Anoka-Ramsey

Rochester, MN - The RCTC Yellowjacket softball team hosted #7 ranked Anoka-Ramsey on Saturday, once again playing indoors at the Dome on RCTC's campus.  Anoka lived up to their billing as one of the top teams in the country, dropping the Jackets by identical 18-0 scores.  Though the Jackets offense failed to getin gear, Morgan Rinn and Kylie Ahl both finished 2-4 at the plate.

In game one Anoka struck early plating 3 runs in the first and second innings, and then 3 more in the 3rd, to take a 10 lead.  Game two was more of the same for the Rams as the scored in each of the first four innings to close out the sweep.

With mother nature still doing her best to keep the Yellowjackets inside, RCTC will once again play in the RCTC Dome this week.  The Jackets will host Riverland on Tuesday, April 10th, with game times set for 3:00 and 5:00.
