Post-Season Honors Continue to Mount for Turner, Named 3rd Team All-American

Rochester, MN - RCTC men's basketball player Jumah'Ri Turner continues to rake in the post-season hardware.  The 6'2" sophomore guard, from Bloomington, MN was just named to the NJCAA All-American 3rd team.  Turner's All-American honors are added to his First Team All-Region, MCAC All-Conference, and All-Division awards.

Turner averaged 22 points per game while shooting nearly 50% from the floor. He also averaged nearly 5 rebounds per game from his guard position.  In the MCAC Turner finished #2 in scoring, #1 in free throw percentage, and #4 in free throws made.  Turner's all-around game is one that posed a challenge for RCTC opponents over the course of the season.  His total number of free throws made showed how challenging he was in one on one situations, but on top of his ability to get to the basket, Turner also was in the top 20 in 3-pointers made and 3 point shooting percentage.
