Dustin Nelson, FR, OF/C from Mondovi, WI has been named 1st Team NJCAA DIII All-American for his play this past season! "Dustin had a great year for us this past season!" Head Coach Steve Hucke said, "He is much deserving of this honor!" Nelson batted .444, 37 RBI's, 14 Stolen bases, 4 HR's to lead the Yellowjackets to a 31-11 overall record and 11-3 Southern Division finish. Congratulations Dustin!
RCTC Men’s Basketball has 3 Sophomores receive scholarships for the Fall of 2015:
Justyn Galloway a 6’3 wing from Kenosha, WI has signed with NAIA Valley City State University in Valley City, ND. Galloway a 2 time All-Region and All-State and NJCAA All-National Tournament selection had a career 55-11 record with the Yellowjackets and helped guide them to two NJCAA National Tournament berths. Galloway averaged 14.3 pts, 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in his 2-year career at RCTC. Robert Claypool a 6’1 Guard from Woodbury, MN signed with D2 Barton College in Wilson, NC. Claypool was All-State and All-Region in 2015 and was a 2 time All-Conference selection. Claypool’s career record was 54-9 and helped guide the Yellowjackets to a Region Final in 2014 and NJCAA National Tournament in 2015. Claypool averaged 11.5pts, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in his 2 year career at RCTC. Keiron Sauer a 6’3 forward from St. Paul, MN signed with University of St. Mary’s in Leavenworth, KS. Sauer was a 2-time Honorable mention All-Conference selection and finished his career at RCTC with a 54-9 record and helped guide the Yellowjackets to a Region 13 Final in 2014 and NJCAA National Tournament in 2015. Sauer averaged 7pts, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in his 2 year career at RCTC. his is a great accomplishment academically and athletically for these three tremendous young men and we wish them the best as they move forward in their endeavors!

Haley Vanourney named Southern Division Player of the Week. Haley batted .833 (10 - 12) and scored 7 times for the Yellowjackets (29 - 14, 19 - 5 South). Vanourney had 1-HR, 1-2B and 6 RBI during a 4 - 0 week. She is a freshman from Marion, IA.
Alexis Schunke named NJCAA Pitcher of the Week. Alexis improved to 13 - 4 (2.97 ERA) with a pair of wins including a perfect game vs. Minnesota West. Schunke struck out 14 in 10 innings of work with 0 walks. She is a sophomore from Stewartville, MN.
Tailor Raymond, a freshman from St. Peter, was named to the NJCAA Women’s Basketball Division III 3rd All-American Team for the 2014-15 season.
Softball player Ashley Bunting was named the MCAC Southern Division Player of the Week for the week of March 30.
RCTC Men finish 3rd in the Nation. The RCTC Men’s Basketball team traveled to Loch Sheldrake, NY, March 10-15 to compete in the 2015 NJCAA Men’s DIII Basketball tournament.
